Many of us enjoy excellent health throughout our lives and into our later lives. However, as we age, some of us may experience a reduction in our mobility and stiff joints.
Chiropractic treatment may help maintain your mobility and well-being in later life. The gentle nature of chiropractic the McTimoney way makes it particularly suitable at this time in life, even if you suffer from osteoporosis.
Having spent many years nursing before retraining, Joy understands the biomechanics as it relates to ageing and the techniques used are carefully selected to minimise any risk. These techniques are gentle and your comfort is always paramount and will be adapted to suit each patient.
Joy's eldest patient in her 21 year career was 96 years young. You're never too old for the gentle adjustments of McTimoney or the subtle work of cranio-sacral therapy.
Referral: If Joy feels your problem is not suitable for
McTimoney adjustments, or need further investigation, she will liaise
with your GP and
other health care providers to arrange an appropriate referral, as long
as you provide your permission to do so.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Due to the nature of my business, I endeavor to be able to offer an appointment within 48 hours of initial contact. This means that I require notification of any appointment needing to be cancelled to be done with at least 24 hours notice. Failing to give 24 hours notice will be met with a request for payment in full, to cover the appointment .Any further appointments may need to be secured with pre-payment made via bacs transfer. I regret having to bring in this policy, but the number of late cancellations, and'or no shows recently, has meant that people are made to wait for an appointment longer than is necessary.
